About Me
Polly specialises in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and has a passion for supporting adults suffering with depression and various forms of anxiety. Her sessions allow her clients the opportunity to talk through issues with someone outside of their friendship group or family.
She is committed to working together with individuals, supporting them in achieving their goals and making positive changes. Polly prides herself on offering therapy that is both informal and non-judgmental.
Qualifications & Experience
Polly studied psychology at the University of Birmingham spent the early part of her career working in the corporate world. Returning to her roots, she completed a two-year postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at the University of Bolton which led her to the next stages in her career.
She is also an accredited member of the British Association of Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP) and is proud to adhere to their standards of conduct, performance and ethics.
Asides from her private practice, Polly has also worked on a voluntary basis for both charity and NHS organisations.
